The Giving Tree

Each year the Wadsworth Library purchases as many children's books and craft supplies as possible. If you are interested in helping us replace worn books or helping to replenish our craft supplies for 2014 please stop by and select a gift tag from the Giving Tree.

Step 1: Select a gift tag and take it to the circulation desk. The gift tags represent beloved children's books that need replacing as well new titles, craft supplies and Thomas trains.  Hardcover books are requested.

The requested books are available at Touch of Grayce
(65 Main Street, Geneseo) for a 20% discount.

Step 2: Bring your purchased item to the circulation desk and we will replace your gift tag with a "thank you." If you purchased a book for the library please let us know whose name you would like on the book plate.

Vote for the Wadsworth Library!

SHOW IT! Cast your vote today!
The Rochester Regional Library Council (RRLC) will recognize three great libraries in the Rochester area: one public library; one academic or special library; and one school library in honor of National Library Week this coming April.

What makes a great library?
According to a posting on the Library Leadership Network, great libraries:

•    Provide superior service
•    Train and re-train their staff
•    Are well supported by their communities or parent institutions
•    Integrate the marketing of virtual, place, and outreach services
•    Serve both the weakest and the strongest among their constituents
•    Provide education and, as appropriate, entertainment
•    Use virtual tools to offer a full range of timely information and services

Click here to vote online or visit the library for a paper ballot.
Voting will take place between March 1st-20th
