Sing, Sign, and Play @ the Library!

This six week session is recommended for
babies 6 - 24 months old and their caregiver. Each class is 30 minutes long and has a weekly theme. We will use music, books, and playful activities to help
hearing babies and adults learn simple ASL signs while having fun. Handouts will be provided with the signs for that theme. 
Registration is recommended.

May Storytime Programs

Books & Babies is a lap-sit program designed to introduce children (6 months - 2 years of age) to language and early literacy. Babies sit with their caregiver and model the activities presented through simple finger plays, songs, stories and nursery rhymes. Registration is required.

Pre-School Storytime
Tuesdays 10:30-11:00 a.m.
  May 8, 15, 22, 29
Storytime is directed as children ages 3-5 and includes books, songs, finger plays and crafts.
Registration is required.

Toddler Tales
Wednesdays 10:00-10:30 a.m.
  May 9, 16, 23,30
The Toddler Tales program is a blend of Books & Babies and Pre-School Storytime activities. A variety of songs, rhymes, finger plays, crafts and free play. This program is appropriate for children
ages 2-4 years old. Registration is required.

Sign-Language Event for Children

Want to learn another language that lets you talk with your hands? Come learn some American Sign Language! We will be reading a book and learning the signs that go with it, as well as, playing games using sign. Hosted by SUNY Geneseo's Organization for Deaf Awareness.
