February Children's Events

Come visit the library during winter break!

LEGO My Library

Tuesday, February 22nd

1:00-3:00 p.m.
Grades K-5
Come and spend the afternoon building a LEGO masterpiece! Leave your own LEGO's at home, we'll be using the library's collection and displaying our creations in the library. Registration is required as space is limited.

Raptors on the Road
Wednesday, February 23rd

2:00-3:00 p.m.
Age 4 and up.
Come and meet some unusual raptors! Our guest will include five different birds of prey including owls and hawks. We will learn the natural history, biology and adaptations of these different birds. Free and open to the public!

Fancy Nancy Pajama Party!
Thursday, February 24th

6:30-7:30 p.m.
Age 3 and up.
It's a soiree (that's a fancy word for part at the library! Wear your fanciest pajamas, bring a blanket or pillow, and come celebrate! We'll read some Fancy Nancy stories, enjoy a fun craft and eat some treats. Registration is required as space is limited.

"If You Give A Mouse a Cookie" Afternoon Storytime Event
Friday, February 25th at 2:00 p.m.
Join students from SUNY Geneseo's National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) organization as we read "If You Give A Mouse a Cookie" and other beloved stories. Enjoy treats and crafts to accompany storytime! Friends in pre-k and up are welcome. Registration is not required.

Storytime is back!


All winter storytime sessions begin again this week!
Books & Babies and Pre-School Storytime will begin Tuesday, January 4th and Toddler Tales will begin Wednesday, January 5th. If you have questions or would like to register please call the library at (585) 243-0440 or e-mail the Children's Librarian, Sarah Matthews, at smatthews@pls-net.org
