Spring Into Reading

Spring Into Reading
with the sisters of Phi Lambda Chi!

Thursday, April 4th at 6:30 pm


Phi Lambda Chi is an organization from SUNY Geneseo and they love working with kids! Join them at the library to read books and make crafts to help us welcome spring!  We'll be reading Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes and The Very Hungary Caterpillar by Eric Carle along with other favorite spring stories. Snacks will be provided. Open to children 3 and up.

Spring Storytime Programs

Books & Babies
Tuesdays, 10:00-10:20 a.m.
April 2nd - May 28th
Books & Babies is a lap-sit program designed to introduce children (6 months-2 years of age) to language and early literacy. Babies sit with their caregiver and model the activities presented through simple finger plays, songs, stories and nursery rhymes. Registration is required.

Pre-School Storytime
Tuesdays, 10:45-11:15am.
April 2nd - May 28th  
Storytime is directed at children ages 3-5 and includes books, songs, finger plays and crafts. Registration is required.

Toddler Tales
Wednesdays 10:00-10:30 a.m.
April 3rd - May 29th
The Toddler Tales program is a blend of Books & Babies and Pre-School Storytime activities. A variety of stories are combined with songs, rhymes, finger plays, crafts and free play. This program is appropriate for children ages 2-4 years old. Registration is required. 

Registration for spring programs begins Monday, March 18th. Please call the library at (585) 243-0440 or e-mail smatthews(at)pls-net.org to register. 

Storytime programs will not meet April 16th or 17th because of the library book sale.
