Summer Writing Workshop

Grades 1-5

Tuesday, July 12th,

Wednesday, July 13th
Friday, July 15th from

12:30-4:30 pm

We are thrilled to be offering a second writing workshop this summer!
Children will be writing in their writers notebooks (Don't have one? You Will!) and filling it up with new and fresh ideas. They will work together to write sensational stories, create perfect poems, craft some new nonfiction, really anything they want! At the end of the week participants will publish an anthology of their best work to share with friends and family at summer cookouts! The class will be taught by Debbie Murray, reading teacher at Geneseo Elementary School.

Bring a writing utensil, your writers notebook (if you have one), a snack, and a USB thumb/flash drive if possible.

**Registration for this program has CLOSED**
If your child is interested in attending PLEASE call and add their name to the wait list. If participants drop out children on the wait list will be called approx. one week before the program begins. Also, children on the wait list will be given priority if/when this program is offered again in the future.
