Schedule Change

Reminder: The Wadsworth Library will not have storytime programs on November 4th or 5th, 2014.

We will resume our normal schedule the following week and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The library will be open so please visit and enjoy our other offerings! 

*Pick out books to share at home.

*Use the children's early literacy computers. There are fun and educational games to help your child prepare for kindergarten (and beyond!)

*Play with puzzles, toys, the train set, and more.

* Look up information about trucks, dinosaurs, outer space, and your child's interests. 

*Check-out music CD's with your favorite storytime songs and listen at home or in the car.

Fall Children's Events

It's a Silly Spooky Halloween Show
Thursday, October 23rd at 6:30 p.m.
Join Charlie, of "Charlie & Checkers" fame, for some Halloween magic, comedy, and fun! Charlie will also share some tips for kids to make their Halloween experience both fun and safe. Registration is not required. 

Fabulous Fancy Nancy!
Monday, November 10th at 2:00 p.m.
It's a soiree (that's a fancy word for party) at the library! Wear your fanciest clothes and come celebrate. We'll read some Fancy Nancy stories, enjoy a fun craft, and eat some treats. Open to children pre-k and up. Registration for this program has CLOSED. If you would like to add your name to the waiting list please call (585) 243-0440.

Thursday, November 20th at 6:30 p.m.
Come out to the Wadsworth Library to celebrate fall with students from SUNY Geneseo! There will be books and a puppet show, along with crafts and treats to get everyone is the spirit of fall. Open to children pre-k and up. Registration is not required.  

*Save the Date* The Annual "Make Your Own Gingerbread House" program will be on Thursday, December 4th at 6:30 p.m. Registration will begin Saturday, November 1st. Space is limited.
